He obtained his tertiary education from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor in Bachelor of Electrical (Mechatronics) Engineering in 2001. After graduation, he started his carrier with SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd as Technical Executive since 2001.
He has 14 years experiences in testing laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. He was undergo quite number of audits from local and international assessor on his lab. He is expert in electrical product compliance test as required under several technical standards (MS, BS, IEC etc).
He is National Technical Committee for Industry Standards Committee under Generation, Transmission and Distribution of Electrical Energy (ISCE), and actively contributes to Working Group (WGs) such as Plug, Socket and Switches, MCB, RCD, Lightning Protection, Transformers, Switchgears, Cables and Conductors, Wiring Installation and many more. He also committee of MT4 and MT9 under SC23B in the International Electrotechnical Committee (IEC) for low voltage electrical accessories. IEC is a world’s leading organization for the preparation and publication of International Standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies.
He was qualified as a Technical Assessor of IECEE CB Scheme programme under category of Power, Protection, Cables and Installation. CB Scheme is IEC system for Conformity Testing and Certification of Electrotechnical Equipment and Components to use in 56 member countries around the world. He has done several assessments on CB Scheme Laboratory mainly in China and Taiwan. Throughout his entire years of experience, he has done several testing and inspection in overseas manufacturers in France, Germany, Switzerland, China, India, South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Brunei and many more. He also appointed as a technical assessor for Skim Akreditasi Makmal Malaysia (SAMM) to qualify to assess laboratory under ISO/IEC 17025.
He also trained engineers and inspectors from several organisations like TNBR Sdn Bhd., Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd., Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Kerja Raya, Sri Lanka Testing Institute, MK Electrics and others.
He is expert in following area: ISO/IEC 17025 for Testing and Calibration Laboratory Management System, Conformity Assessment System, Product Certification and Inspection Scheme, IEC product compliance standards such as IEC 60502, 60669, 60335, 60364, 61008, 61643 and many more.
